Summary[edit | edit source]

There is nothing better to break through a gate than the Battering Ram program.

The Battering Ram is a Brute Force program that attacks Code Gate nodes. The Battering Ram will deplete the Code Strength on a Code Gate eventually removing the damage filter and enabling other offensive programs to deal normal damage. It can also attack the shield provided by a Guardian.

Statistics[edit | edit source]

  • Notes: While the Battering Ram is technically allowed to upgrade at the Evolver levels displayed, the Capacity of B-coins that can be held at those levels may not be sufficient to purchase the upgrade.
More Info here: Max amount of B-coins at Core Level.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • Battering Rams do not attack the firewall of any node, so be sure to bring other offensive programs.
  • Battering Rams can attack shields provided by the Guardian node.
  • Watch for nodes protected by Guardians and/or multiple Code Gates connected to the same node - a single Battering Ram here will attack multiple targets, saving you time and resources.
  • In cases where the Ram is being used to take down a Code Gate with no Guardian shields present, it is advised to delete the Ram as it cannot do anything anymore.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Battering Rams are most likely named after historical siege engines that were used to destroy city walls and gates in ancient times.
